Description
Skytower is the resident powerhouse of Concorde, and generally considered to be one of the strongest heroes in Canada, especially at full height, where he even rivals some of the strongest powerhouses in the world. He is a genius physicist who works at the TRIUMF experimental physics laboratory in Vancouver, where he developed his powers after combining his own research and the research at TRIUMF with some of the gadgetry of his late father. Skytower's father was Doc Dynamo, an extraordinarily gifted scientist with energy manipulating equipment and a founding member of Concorde decades earlier. Dynamo himself was descended from former American slaves who fled to Canada following the passage of the 1850 Fugitive Slave Act, and traveled west to put as much distance between themselves and the American South as possible. Skytower's presence in Concorde adds an additional legacy to the group that Delphi approves of, although Skytower prefers to stay in Vancouver as much as possible, both to continue his research into the energies that enable his size changing powers, as well as to defend the city from various threats like ancient cults imported by south Asian immigrants and the occasional giant sea monster sent at the city by an offshore Fomorian colony.
