Well, this is the latest LSF drawing ... done to practice detail in a more close up picture than normal. Its set on the boardwalk seen in the last pic [link] . I created a new texture for use as the wooden planks, and did a variation on the old water texture for the ... um water

Along a small part of the shoreline in LSF, the land drops away into the water extremely quickly, forming a natural harbour. This made it an ideal choice for the location of the fishery, as they could tether their fishing boats to the pier without the hassle of grounding and then floating them again. The boardwalk was constructed to stop people from falling in and to also allow night-time strolls along the foreshore. Guard patrols watch this area constantly, especially at night because there is always the constant risk of attack from the various nasty things that live in the swamp.

Pictured here is gate guard Adwain, in complete fighting gear. The spear is luxforged, hence its glow and the yellow ribbon identifies him as the head of one of the households. He is the youngest of the heads (only 40 something), and also the most recent joiner. He is primarily tasked with standing guard at the southern gate, but events such as a shortage of personnel can often see him patrolling the northern shoreline.
