DÉGUISE IS NOT AN IMPORTABLE MUTATION AND IS ONLY AVAILABLE DURING EVENTS OR BY BREEDING EXISTING DÉGUISE!

It is a cousin to the mutation Masquerade; it gives the boucle a much larger mask in the shape of an animal that covers half of the face and covers the eyes too (they still see through the mask’s eyes, and the eyes will have the appearance of the déguise animal’s, not bouclite)! It also gives the boucle a themed pauldron that matches the animal, and may have fur, teeth, feathers or scales depending on the animal and matching broaches/clasps/strings/fabric to hold it all together!

Déguise can take on any NATURAL colour of animals in each group, so sadly no big blue cats, but you can have any colour that occurs in the wild. For the Neigh Déguise it is allowed to use domestic variants of Equidae!

There is a list of which animals you can use for each Déguise down below!

When a boucle inherits two different animal types, the mutation can have features of both animals, or splits down the middle to have one animal on one side and the second animal on the other. It must always show both animals in some way.

IMPORTANT: Déguise should always have a defined edge on your designs and does not blend into the Boucle's body. Some of the head should still be visible! Like masquerade, think of it as an item that sits on top of the Boucle but it cannot be removed. Only Extended/Corrupted/Blessed versions can cover the whole head, merge with the fur, and add accessories not on the head and shoulders.

You must use the natural colour of the animal, unless it is affected by blessings or corruption. Mutations may interact!

You cannot use the domestic or extinct animals from these lists (unless they were recently extinct and have photographic evidence of colour/pattern)
