I know that the children of the forest here don't match the description given in the book, but somehow I always seen them that way and as for the rest of the characters, especially direwolves, I tried to be really faithful to the book, in case of these little creatures I decided to give myself a bit of freedom. After all, with few exceptions, no one has ever seen them anyway

Nope, I drew this with a gel pens on a card stock and then threw it into a graphics program. Digitally generated are colors, contrast, snow and a few minor changes in the composition (I had to move a few unruly leaves and branches here and there).
