Very cool. Nice juxtaposition of the angular buildings with the natural forms of the clouds

Amazing shot. This is the way the stronger HDR should be used.

in fact it's no *that* strong, I always try to enhance the picture, rather thant making it an horrible oversaturated-full-of-halos thing like photomatix tends to do if it is not used with some care

Haha, that's definitely the way to go about it. It's just enough to benefit from the tonemapping, but it's not overdoing it which roughly 80% of the HDR community ends up doing.
Sometimes it helps to overlay parts/elements from the original exposures in order to reduce halos, artifacts, and over saturation present in the final HDR image.

yeah I've done it some times or you can make to HDR versions with one being less "hard", to overlay later. there are so many possibilities

The geometry and colors here are really what make the photo -- and the clouds, of course, make it all the more stunning. c:

I've not seen many HDR shots with a fisheye - very interesting. Can't say I really like the cubic architecture of the buildings, but your image is fascinating to look at from a technical perspective.

In fact I'm do not really like those building either (I'd hate to live in that...) but I must admit they make an interesting whole to photograph...
Thank you kindly, if you like fisheye and HDR, then I suggest you to take a look at my gallery, as it represents a big part of what I do

I don't usually appreciate HDR shots, but this is jus a fantastic shot. The composition, with the sharp geometric buildings and the natural shapes all around them, is fantastic to start. What I admire most about it though is how you've managed to used HDR to actually enhance the photo without distorting it too much as I find most photos in this style do. Vraiment formidable!

Thanks a lot, I always try to use this process to add something to my photo, rather than simply "making it HDR" (I hate overprocessed pictures coming straight from photomatix with all their oversaturation and "artificial" feel). I rather go for a bit "surreal" effect.
Well, I'm glad if I managed to make you look at this technique differently, do not hesitate to have a look at my gallery as there are more of this kind (but, I confess, many different things too )
Have a nice day!
