Description
Pencil sketch on toned paper, 2B,HB,H, 2H, 8 and a half by 11 inch paper, sketch from imagination of my design for an English-inspired townhouse for a narrow town lot with garage and master suite to the rear and two bedrooms on second floor, floor plan complete. Exterior is roughcast or stucco over 2x6 framing or block, with some brick, and a dark slate roof with ridge tiles. Additional plans coming later.Related content

Well, they wouldn't have the curved roof to the left for example, but the two-story bay window and overhanging gable to the right are absolutely pure English. American adaptations of English Tudor styles in the early 20th century are a little different. Half-timbering patterns for example, and construction methods differ from English types.
