Description I have a soft spot for post apocalyptic themed movies and comics etc. and was watching the movie `A boy and his dogΒ΄ (from 1975) one night which got me inspired. This is what became of that inspiration.

I hadn't said this yet, part of the draw with your work is your characters have so much definitive 'tude displayed, you can already hear what they sound like in your head, know what they're about. So important when telling stories!

great illustration ! you rock , how did you get the dot effect? i've tried a few times in photoshop with the halftone filter but it never looks right . basically i'm trying to get the same effect you used on this.

that movie was pretty great too.

Thanks! ItΒ΄s a pattern of dots put on a textured brush. I donΒ΄t use a halftone filter. Sometimes I make a grayscale copy of my image and convert that to bitmap haltone and overlay that onto my original document for a halftone effect and that works quite nice but in a case like this I go with a dot textured brush.
