Description
Been having so many second thoughts about this design, but I’ve now tinkered with it to the point that I can only release it and watch whether or not it’ll float. Based on electric clampers, lamps, and rattle snakes. Might make some sort of physical electric move based on wrapping or clamping the opponent, but for now I’ll stick to the official stuff.
Clamba : Clamp + Mamba
Wirelent : Wire + Virulent
Notable moves: Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Power Whip, Overheat, Coil, Tail Glow

Clamba the clamp pokemon, For this Pokemon to travel great distances it latches on to traveling unaware Pokemon. They have also been known to acedently latch to humans as they go to the city.
Wirelent the wire pokeon, these Pokemon tend to dig underground to tap into electrical wires to drain or give energy. Most electricians catch one for the latter.

Aww man, I don't know why, but I REALLY like these guys. I would love a plushie version of Clamba. Actually, I think I'd a plush for both of them.
I also love the lightbulb tail on Wirelent. Maybe it would have regional variations with different kinds of lightbulbs (on second thought, that might look kind of stupid; that type of bulb looks cool, but one of the bulbous, round bulbs might look kind of dumb on the tail).
The only real complaint I have (other than that I can't buy plush versions of these guys) is Wirelent's clamp head just reminds me of that tall hat Goofy wears. I think it's just the shape, and maybe I have Disney on the brain. It just reminds me of those peculiar, tall hats that were wider at the top that some of the old Disney characters used to wear (or still wear).

Electric/ Poison snakes have been done many times, yet you've managed to give the concept an original design; the energy-efficient light bulb was a creative choice.
Is there a reason why you gave Wirelent Illuminate instead of having it keep Unnerve?

Just because Illuminate fits the flavor more while Unnerve is more of a general ability.

I like the idea, i think the thing sticking out of Wirelent's head is a little on the nose though, it just looks like part of a clip lol

If I were to build off this design, I would drop the light bulb rattle of his evolved forms and give him two heads (maybe one positive and one negative?). This would bring out his resemblance to jumper cables and could play off the two-headed serpents of mythology, like Nehebkau and Amphisbaena. I might then play up the changes in the design and names too, but only too make the connection more obvious. I think the designs are good as they stand though. I especially like the electric/poison typing. It definitely reminded me though of how much I'd like a poison pokemon based off radiation poisoning rather than venom or toxic waste. I definitely love poison-types, but their pokedex could be a lot more diverse...

Clamba is so cute! But I always figured that the first Electric/Poison type should be a Mongolian Death Worm Pokémon. I guess that wouldn't be as creative though, but I'd sure want one!

i always did think as a kid that electric clampers totally looked like snakes! awesome!
