Actually, you are an art thief, because you're basically stealing the artwork via tracing. Unless you have the artist's explicit permission - or you're using a stock piece - you're not supposed to use their artwork like this.

If you right click it and copy the image, and then paste into MS Paint it'll work. C: I went threw the exact same problem a while ago.

Right click the image, click on "copy" or "copy image"
right click the MS Paint page, click "paste", then it should work. If not. Save as a 24-bitmap (*.bmp;*bid)

It saves fine, it just won't let me change the colors. If I select bright yellow, it will only let me use the yellow on the "keep out" tape.
