I've been doing a silly little thing where I draw awful Muro doodles in response to people giving truth or dare to my OCs~
Merle the cute kiddy pokemon trainer, and her adoptive dad Florin who also happens to be a giant ghost pumpkin.

The answer = MAKEOVERS!!!

He really enjoys them! He was never really a fashion guru before he got stuck with a child to look after, but it's something that's become his favourite hobby simply because she enjoys it so much. He likes making his human friend happy and boosting her self confidence, since she's really shy about stuff like this.
Merle never really had a dad that showed any enthusiasm about doing stuff with her, or gave her compliments about ANYTHING. Her biological father is the kind of dick who's never satisfied with anything and would never lower himself to do something as demeaning as playing with a small child. He just wanted her to grow up as fast as possible and stop being an annoyance...
So basically now she's SUPER STOKED to have a big cuddly dad who loves hanging out with her and doing all sorts of "childish" things~! And because her self confidence sucks about wearing dresses and trying to be cute and stuff, she always gets Florin's help first. He takes her shopping and helps do her hair and reassures her that she totally looks fabulous. She's too shy to talk fashion with anyone else so it's a sign of how much she trusts him.
And honestly he kinda enjoys letting her do his hair too. And put eyeliner on his jack 'o lantern XD
He's determined to be such a good dad that he can undo all the harm Merle's old father did to her, and at the same time he's doing his best to be the rest of the family too. A mum, a dad, a sister, a dog, a house and a picket fence! He may be a fiendish evil trickster but he can't deny that he's got a giant soft spot for this little girl~

I dunno why I decided to draw the two of them with different outline styles, or why she owns a strange mickey mouse pumpkaboo shirt. I guess I'm just a bit silly today
