heyyyyyyyyyy im making a webcomiccccxc

it's about lesbians in an 80's fantasy world accidentally getting cursed with mild inconvenience and in order to break the curse they have to recreate an ancient espresso drink. things happen. im still writing it

This page is all about how i want the comic to look. I'm experimenting with combining traditional and digital art, which will both speed up the time I spend on each page and also make it more fun for me. I'll be working on it during the school year bc I have lots of free time this year (and one trimester of entirely art classes im so excited)!

My goal for this project is to actually sucessfully make it. at least halfway through, to prove that I can actually do something like this and also as a portfolio thing for art school applications heha

The story is meant to be kind of short, i don't think this will take longer than a year or two to complete if i do a page a week maybe?? like i said i'm still writing it so i'll map out all the pages and panels i need when i finish. it's also meant to be cute and fluffy and mainly lighthearted, probably with some darker comedy since one of the main character is involved in some organized crime stuff. The idea came out of my love for coffee and espresso and barista-ing, so ill be putting some Coffee History in there too. the main characters Angelo and Bezzera are actually named after some significant people in espresso history, the inventor and re-inventor of the espresso machine.
