I love the fact that you made her look young. People tend to forget that James and Lily were only 21 when they were murdered. I think the casting of the movie made it so. :/

So sad and so touching, what a tragic and beautiful scene, and lovely art of course. I really love your style of artwork, it just "fits" the Harry Potter world and characters so well. I think I've favorited about every piece of Harry Potter art you've done, they're all amazing! Sorry I haven't commented on each one of them, I'm being lazy, but they're all awesome!

The thing about this that is saddest to me is Harry's expression. He is so blissfully innocent. He has no idea that his mother is begging a dark wizard to kill her instead of him. No idea that his dad is already dead downstairs. He has no idea that the dark wizard is there for him and that his life could end in a few short minutes. To me it looks like he sees some long flowing hair and like all babies, wants to give it a good tug. Thats all. No pain, no desperation.
