Gotta say I usually can't stand Harry Potter fan-art but this one really won me over. The characters are both expressive and genuine. The posing is unique and very dynamic. Great work, would love to see some colors!

Uh, no? Their romance doesn't come from Harry being an arrogant bastard that has to grow up to be worthy of Ginny, as is the case of James and Lily. If anything, Ron and Hermione is closer to that. Harry and Ginny like each other because they have such a good time together she makes him forget about being, well, Harry Potter. Also, Ginny is a tougher woman by far than Cho or Hermione yet still very compassionate, both of which are qualities that Harry requires in his ideal woman.

Whether you agree with my opinion or not, I dislike this pairing. I think its too perfect and J.K.R could have done a bit better job with any romance in her series (the Ron/Herm was way to obvious as well) and honestly, I'd rather see Harry with Hermione. I don't care for Cho.
And just because they have such a good time together doesn't make them dating material, just good friends.
Like the pairing, I respect that, but respect that I hate it and think he should have been with someone else more realistic.

Hermione? Seriously? I can understand why people feel that Harry/Ginny is forced, but I don't see what he really has in common with Hermione.
Anyway, what I wanted to point out more than anything is that I don't see the similarities between James/Lily and Harry/Ginny just because both men look alike and both women are redheads.

I like Hermione and I just feel that if a relationship can form between her and Ron (when they seem to always fight and he didn't even like her in the first book) then it as easily can form between her and Harry.
Its not that they both are redheads, I feel they are similar in personality too in a way.

I think there's loads of tension between them even before book four. I think what Hermione likes about Ron is that he makes her relax a bit, not be so uptight about everything. Harry can't do that. Also, look at book six where Harry doesn't really know what to say to her to comfort her when she's upset. He just can't really handle that. Again, the bickering and arguing has long since been recognized by most fans as sexual tension.

I don't hate Ginny as a character, I actually like her. I just don't like her with Harry. X) So yeah, she needs a happy ending. I just wish it would have been with someone else. (Don't worry, I understood. XD)
Yeah, haters are haters but I respect others opinions on things so I wish others would respect mine. Yeah, sometimes canon sucks. Hehe! Obviously, I prefer yaoi so...XD But I don't hate het couples, I just like yaoi more.
