The first of many concept art uploads I am going to commit to from here on out.

The concept of the Drill Bug was created by myself, Burk, but the design and of course drawing comes from my ever dear friend Enshohma enshohma.deviantart.com/ the artist for The Lightning Brigade! Which has the unusual abbreviation of LB5, despite that being inaccurate, it's still snazzy.

The Lightning Brigade are a Power Rangers inspired team, and through that they must face giant monsters. While they are more than capable of tackling certain giant monsters on their own terms, the damage brought from such ventures is enormous more than not-so the team each have individual mechas to make the giant brawls easier.

Instead of following the source on this, however, we decided to give each of the Brigadier a personal mech that does not combine, instead promoting actual teamwork through having to coordinate five different machines. The Drill Bug is a mostly melee range beast, so the idea went, that was designed to burrow and dig. Due to the types of planets it was designed to function on, it is incredibly hearty and durable with few issues.

However we decided to pursue a different idea for the Black Brigadier's personal machine, and are looking into something as of this post. For this reason, this design is UNUSED-but Not Abandoned.
