he said a lot in his interview in shounen jump.. The ray of light thingy was when he was asked on how he got Rukia's name..
He even said: he won't confirm or deny that when he was asked if he plans on making ichigo and rukia a couple.
It was like: oh yeah... very subtle indeed.. it means, he's thinking about it cause he doesn't confirm or deny that fact.
