Description Looking down the 6000ft high eastern face of Mount Watzmann. Deep in the valley there's lake Königsee with Germany's tallest waterfall (Röthbachfall), in the background Mount Hochkönig. Watzmann belongs to the most dangerous mountains in the Alps, due to its enormous eastern wall and the quick changing weather.
Mount Watzmann, Berchtesgaden (Germany)

As Master Rincewind once put it: "There's no need to be afraid of heights, you should be afraid of the ground."

I don't know who Master Rincewind is, but that makes perfect sense.

Rincewind is a fictional character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel series: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rincewin…

Interesting, I'll see if I can read the book one of these times. Rincewind doesn't seem popular with other wizards from the description.

Well, as it says on Wikipedia: "Rincewind is also reputed for being able to solve minor problems by turning them into major disasters."

Actually, it's not just one book. The series has started 30 years ago and there are about 40 novels up to this day: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworl… There's no problem reading a new novel, but reading them in the proper order yields a lot of additional fun. Terry Pratchett is an amazing writer – whenever I got a book I used to always peek a look at the last page, but Pratchett's novels were the only one where nothing is spoiled by doing so.

Interesting, I think it said there was a bit of a movie adaption as well.

Yes, afaik there are 3 movies, one being the movie adaption of The Colour of Magic, one of The Hogfather and the third one about Going Postal. Yet the books are a lot better than the movies.

je crois que c'est sur le lac qui est en contrebas que les vaches sont emmenées à l'alpage par bateau ?

C'est vrai. Il n'y a pas d'autre moyen de traverser le lac, à moins que vous montez sur les montagnes.
