I know about Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu archetypes
well sonic does in games, how a Gary-Stu or Mary-Sue works is a character perfect to the point he/she has no personalty and usually clones the suether or stuther.
Cynder is targeted as a Mary-Sue because of her dark past and her trying to help to redeem herself being evil, Cynder also feels like an outsider and she tries to run away.
She can be stubborn and show that she could lead.
She was mean in Dawn of The Dragon because she hates feeling imprisoned.
I could well relate to her.
The real Mary-Sue is Elora in my opinion and maybe Ember (She didn't have a main role to tell)
she is appeared as perfect, intelligent, strong willed, even kind, even thugh she treated Hunter like dirt, Elora only awarded Spyro a holiday for doing her dirty work, if she is really strong willed she could get the orbs herself.
Then she loved Spyro after the 100% ending (ding* ding* Mary-Sue detected)
the shipping is beastiality, but if bestiality really has to involve a human, Elora can never get away with the shipping being pedophilia, because even the canon Spyro is depicted as a child.
I can not relate to Elora, but the Elora fans always say she is true love.
I love the classic Spyro games but I know the character development was poor, even Spyro himself was a Gary-Stu, perfect, arrogant, always wins, cocky, never proved wrong nor have misfortunes.
I like classic Spyro for being quite cute, but his personalty reflects more of his Skylander form.
LOS Spyro was a better hero, he worried like a true hero and do anything to help while classic Spyro will refuse to help others.

I love classic Spyro games, but I prefer the Legend of Spyro fanbase.
I can't have a opinion yet on the Legend of Spyro franchise, but the story and characters are awesome. they ruined Sparx a little bit though.

I like him no matter what, I may be standing alone, but im glad he was in the series!

As a kid in the 90s I thought Sonic would hate humans due to Dr Robotniks reputation and Sniviley
Chris finally shows that Sonic can be friends with humans, when Chris saved Sonic from drowning.
Chris is a better human friend to Sonic than Princess Elise.

Chris may have been seen as annoying, but I think he made the series interesting. After all, he's what made the season 2 finale such a tear-jerker. c:

IKR? I mean i just learned about it 4 years ago and ever since i saw chris and the series finalie i wanted to cry in a pillow! Even at the part when Sonic was about to go back to his world!
