They cancelled it because Disney kept making Jhonen change it because it was supposed to bring in 8-10 year olds but instead was bringing in teens and even adults, and jhonen got tired of it and quit (it wasn't cancelled for bloody gir) Β Β

Actually it was cancelled due to the people blowing their budget on 3D walnuts in the episode "A room with a Moose". If they hadn't done that, the show could have continued with two more episodes.
