I'm not going to give you his backstory because he himself doesn't even remember it. It is there, I do give hints at times, you just have to piece together. Thyther is an alien overlord from the planet Nylune. He leads his race known as the Nuithen who are black skinned, dark eyed, hooded figures in this crusade for galactic conquest. Having already conquered 3 galaxies, Thyther sets his armadas towards the spiral galaxy of Dementye.

Thyther is 15 feet tall and over 100,000 years old. His immortality may be impressive, but to him it is a curse as he will never know eternal rest or meet this "deity" at a utopian afterlife that so many zealots believe in. He has a large, ugly scar on his lip, hence why he hides his mouth with a mouth covering. The Nuithen conquer planets that contain life my annihilating all life on the planet with terraforming and then reforming the planet's to a habitable state once the planet's inhabitants are dead.

This pays a heavy toll on Thyther for he feels guilt for the many deaths, although he does not understand what emotions are hence why he thinks he is mentally ill when he feels these feelings of happiness or regret. He is an emotional train wreck because he never sleeps due to having horrific visions of the past he has no knowledge of. These dreams include being trapped in a glass tube in a black lab, being trapped in a large body bag, and being trapped inside a tower full of demons as it explodes.


Thyther has no gender as his race reproduces A-sexually. He is also highly athletic and fast. He has no known family besides his race although he remembers having a sibling that died from unknown causes centuries ago. He is a master of swordplay as his primary weapons are dual blades.

I know that he seems like a sue due to his immortality and high skills but to be fair Thyther when it comes to physic is just like every other Nuithen. He is highly intelligent and immune to disease and death, but so is the rest of his race. Really, he is no one special. The only reason he is a Nuithen is because he was Nite's architect during a great time of depression for the empire.

I don't hate JG Quintel, I think he has some talent. I loved his two other shorts but his problem is that he cannot write characters for the life of him. Only Benson has a back story. Everyone else we can only speculate because everything is so underdeveloped. The characters only have one personality trait, either being an annoying moron or the typical good looking hero, the main female characters are just love interest, even this world has no real weight to it.


Ever seen Adventure Time? That show is great because everything has a story, everything has some reasoning, every character has their own back story thus they are three dimensional. I'm not even a professional writer and even my own character Thyther has more depth then any RS character.

As I always say, if you like Regular Show and it's characters, I don't look down at you, I don't think your an idiot, I don't think your a terrible person, we all like and dislike things for different reasons. Please do not take it personal as I am still a fan of most popular shows like IZ and Adventure Time, MLP. Its just that Regular Show I feel is heavily overrated because it is just the MTV version of the Angry Beavers, except when Norb and Dag were funny and likable, Mordecai and Rigby are just the love children of Squirrel and Doyle from Bio-Dome.

Again, if you like them, I'm okay with that.
