I don't understand why do people like Yaoi so much?

For some its because their young otaku's just wanting to fit in with 'trends'. For others its for 'kawaii gey yaoi smex' <--- these are the retard fangirls everyone hates. Then there's the people who like it for sort of bringing homosexuality into media. and then of course theres people like me who ship characters based on chemistry, not gender<--- aka SANE yaoi fans (and yes that means I like Yuri and hetro too, if the characters work I'll ship it).
