Much like the core Breath of the Wild Game, pets have the ratings of Strength, Speed, and Stamina. When creating a horse, sand seal, or other pet you get 10 free Star Rankings you can put in to each of the three main categories. Each category requiring a minimum of at least 2 Stars.
In addition to attributes there is also added Temperament types that each give their own bonuses and decreases to different categories.
Aggressive: +1 Strength / -1 Stamina
Stubborn: +1 Strength / -1 Speed
Wild: +1 Speed, / -1 Stamina
Cautious: +1 Speed / -1 Strength
Lazy: +1 Stamina / -1 Speed
Gentle: +1 Stamina / -1 Strength
