Once-ler turned around and looked up at the Truffula tree nearest to them. He pulled a small bit of the tuff. He walked back to Olive and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned from watching the animals to look at the tuff.
"Feel it," Once-ler said. Olive felt it. A smile formed on her face. "It's softer than silk huh?" Once-ler asked. Olive nodded. "Smell it," Once-ler instructed. Olive did so. Her smile went wider.
"Butterfly milk," Olive said, softly. "This! You should use this for the Thneeds! There soft, smell nice, stretchy,and easy enough to sew together! It's the perfect package!" Olive exclaimed. Once-ler nodded.
