Description
As I was playing Pokémon Soul Silver recently, I figured out that there was one thing that bothered me about it. Namely, if the Pokémon games are supposed to be FULL with Pokémon, why do the eyecatches/previews of some locations only show one Pokémon? Therefore, as a little side project, I've taken it upon myself to create what I call "Super Eyecatches"; composite location previews from HGSS with all the relevant Pokémon in them, not just one.
In this instance, here we have the evening eyecatch for Mt. Moon to the east of Pewter City in Kanto. Normally, you'd only see one Pokémon present, but I've compiled three images together (Morning, Day and Evening) to show two Clefairy and one Paras. Including all three Pokémon in one shot makes it feel like there's a lot more Pokémon in the world.
This is an advanced composite due to the nature of the resources used (Sourced from bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wik… ) which means that the colours and lighting for the previews are essentially different across each shot. Therefore, this ultimately means that this Super Eyecatch can only be used for the evening time of day.
