As a matter of fact, posting in less popular categories helps you get on the front page (if you are already quite popular of course) I guess this is how the Fair Exposure algo works somehow. Do you think it would have been on the 24 hours most popular if you had posted it in the regular fractal section?

I don't post my fractals with this criteria. Maybe it would have had less faves, I don't know.
But if a person likes an image, I think he/she would fave it regardless of the category. That's what I would do.
