Apophysis 7x.15C and postwork with GIMP.
First submission of 2013! OMG, I can't even believe I made this far with fractals. It's been almost a year since I uploaded my first flame with Apo and I never got tired of them.
Anyway...this is a three xforms flame: two with spherical and one with crackle+blur_circle (to make the bokeh effect).
Not sure about the bokeh, but...whatever, I like the overall result.
This fractal is somehow related to what is happening to me in this period of my life.
I'm hopeless.

Beautiful unfolding spiral of gorgeousness, if your life is like that then you have it good.

Thank you so much!
Yes, it's more like "Autumn", but this choice has an explanation too.

Seriously, how are these even done? What program makes...fractals?

I use Apophysis 7x.15 version C, but I guess you've already read my FAQ journal.

I saw the journal. Personally, I think I'd have an easier time calculating the mass of the universe and proving the multiverse theory. This stuff looks difficult. o-o

Believe me, it's not as difficult as it seems.
You need a lot of practice and pay attention to other people's work, so that you can learn many techniques to combine and create your own style.
Anyway, I've never spent time calculating the mass of the universe and proving the multiverse theory, so I can't really tell you which one is easier.

These maple leaves in that fractal remind me of last year's autumn. I love orange when it's autumn!

wow for the fractal, and the bokeh is cool too ^^
You should ask someone to render it with chaotica, just for fun
