I was in Ann Arbor, Michigan for their comic art convention when I took this class on cartooning. Sometimes one has to not only have characters and a plot, but also the various words and sound effects to make it seem more real. Sometimes, it really is about how you emphasize or strengthen those effects to make a comic or drawing stand out, and thus I made myself a few examples practicing these types of layouts.
