A European Polecat.One of my favourites, we caught one in a fox trap where I used to work, the power its jaws have is amazing. Bit right through the gloves we used for falconry (they're supposed to stop eagle talons and the sort). it was released straight after.
Look at its cute little fangs!

Yes they can bite very hard!
All of the Mustelinae, from Ermine/Mink up to their bigger cousins, Badgers & Gulo Gulo, have surprisingly powerful bites...
The damage to the glove gives you some idea why even large Bears are very wary about combat engagements with a Wolverine.
