I didn't actually intend to enter the contest but I was itching to draw Lightning and so I was like "Why not?"
I really don't like how long the width is but it did specify that it must be 2000x550 so there - but really how are you meant to see the design properly... O_o [I have a smaller version but it doesn't fit the requirements ]
Sorry it's a bit rushed - I'm meant to be packing since I'm leaving home again.

I will be getting the game tomorrow sooo yay!~

EDIT : Added a close up Lightning on the left side since it was so empty.

Details about the costume :
I thought up the costume while mulling over Lightning being the "saviour" so all the wings and feathers and stuff, but then she's not exactly the nice-nice-all-angel type so all the armour and the darker colour scheme!

Those wings aren't also really wings but her cape, so while standing still - they would just naturally hang from her shoulders but as she runs, it'd kind of float like wings! (Totally doesn't make sense but hey I thought it was a neat idea! )

Her sword by the handle is the Lightning Returns logo in back with more wings!
