Optimus Primal is the leader of the Maximals, a group of Transformers from the future who fled the destruction of their homeworld via the Transwarp, thanks to Unicron and his minions, the Terrorcons, in their quest to satiate his hunger. With the burden of leadership thrust upon him, Optimus has led the Maximals for millennia deep in the jungles of Peru, bidding their time to take vengeance against the “Consumer of Worlds”.

Vengeance, however, is not Optimus’ calling as his eons of operation has made him a wise and open spirit, embracing the hospitality of humanity and with aiding his ancestors, the Autobots, whom he makes an alliance with in order to take down the Terrorcons and prevent Unicron from attaining victory. Even despite Airazor’s tragic demise, Optimus and the remaining Maximals have sought to continue to protect humanity from otherworldly threats. Whether that includes the impeding arrival of the Decepticons remains to be seen…

Decades before the invention of YouTube and his rise to popularity, Optimus Primal greets the Autobots with a certain “Beastly” greeting…

(PERSONAL THOUGHTS 💭)
Now what inspired to make this illustration here? I’m not subscribed to Mr Beast, I haven’t seen TF: ROTB and I don’t have any nostalgic attachment to Beast Wars (because I’m not forty). The reason for this piece; the “MR BEAST” ERB meme is still kind of funny to me, that’s the reason.

I think Optimus Primal ended up a bit glossy, with lots of very soft lighting and not enough “hardness” around those edges but I think the design is pretty close to the actual design in the film so that’s good.
