Does anyone else ever have the moments in life where they just need to take a moment— a quiet moment— and just look back at all the decisions they’ve ever made and all the events that have brought them to the point of where they were at that moment?Well, that was exactly what Mads was doing. Just taking a moment to take a break; take everything in and have a detached outlook of what course of action she could make. And with only her stuffed friend and the Moon for her company. But that was fine, if anything, she desired only them. And she didn’t care to involve anyone else, either.
Little did she know, however, that someone else was taking a moment to himself and watching most of his life float away in wisps of pale smoke.
No matter how unbelieving in powers greater than him he was, he couldn’t help but feel strangely that night; with the pale moon shining down on him omnipresent and bright. And the wind whispering little messages into his ears…
Everything was going to be okay. He didn’t know how or really why it would start then; especially when it always depended upon him to take responsibility in his hands to get his desired outcomes.
