Description
Taken for the 4x6 September Free StudyI woke up one morning to find my yard full of spider webs covered by the heavy morning dew. Taken with my Nikon Coolpix 885, Manually focused (which can be a challange with compact digital cameras)

This really does give the illusion of an out of this world experience. And somehow there is both focus and a sense of motion.

Exceptional, try a gaussian blur in the background, or higher contrast. The fore ground is quite good, very David Lynch. If you are really looking to make this a better shot, you might try having more background, possibly a square composition - similar to a shot of earth from the moon. I really like it though.

Very kool, looks like a photo of an organism that those microsopes takes, zoomed in about 200x. Good stuff the black and white adds to the effect.

i definitely, absolutely love this piece due to its simplicity. although i hate spiders. the black and white really adds to this, making the fragile lines much clearer. you did also a great job with the focus, i love the depth. wow.

I might have expanded the depth of field a bit. It's a great shot concept, but the focus is so narrow that the details that would really wow the viewer are lost. Since you've chosen to remove the color from the image, high detail is essential to maintaining viewer interest. Way to take advantage of opportunity, though.

this image is great, I like it a lot. although it coveres only a small area and a small object, it provides a huge depth, you adjusted the manual focus really well
(I wish I could do that with my cam *sigh*) the detail in it is incredible, and another interesting fact is that you gave it a pretty abstract look, a challenge in photography I think.
