My geeking for the day was making this locket in honor of one of my favorite movies, Disney's Blackbeard's Ghost. I used the Aldetha Teach art made by TimBakerFX here on DeviantArt. He did the most Amazing job of recreating the painting from the movie. The Blackbeard portrait is from the painting done for the movie by an unconfirmed artist for Disney. Still doing my research there.
For the necklace itself I used random bits of chain I had on hand, and metal locket and charm from Hobby Lobby.
Was super fun, easy, and makes me happy! My daughter keeps stealing it too
