History: He was a bay dun pinto and he looked about as wild as wild could get, tossing his head and kicking up dust as he galloped around the pasture. However, there was something off about him - in the way he constantly swiveled his head to watch the gathered crowd, and in the slight lameness evident in his front left leg. Upon closer observation, she noticed the scarred tissue traveling from the stallion's muzzle to his eye, and the cobweb like scarring that covered the area beneath his knee.
"Jesus christ, what happened to him?" Jo asked, turning to her boss for an answer. The corners of Rhea's mouth turned downwards as she winced in pity. "We reckon he got caught in last year's fires. Poor thing must've tried to jump the blaze and ended up with burns on his face and leg". Jo mirrored her boss's wince, "gee, they must've been pretty bad to leave scars like that!". Ashleigh nodded her head in agreement, "it's a miracle that he's alive, really. We found him hanging on the outskirts of the kalkite herd when we went to check on them this morning."
