I just don't really have the time, inspiration, or any measure of natural talent. I've got to focus on my college career, and the only artistic skill I have is my writing.

Like I said - hard work always pays off.
And focusing on your college career is a good thing to focus on my friend.
And writing is something you can build up on your free time if you wish.
If you don't see your artistic skills as something you want your career to focus on - you don't have too! It can be something you enjoy doing whenever you want to. A leisurely activity maybe.

Like you said. If drawing isn't you're thing - it doesn't have to be! It can be writing if you wish.
Unless you wanna invest the time and effort to work on your art skills - then go for it!

One way that helps me remember ideas is once I get them I keep note of them on paper or wherever else to remind myself. I have a list of things I wanna draw taped up on my wall in front of my laptop so I see it all the time aha.

Thats right just listen to the other artists we are here to help too you will see progress the more you practice and if you have questios there are tutorials and a lot of good artists you can ask for help
