"Is there anything that I can do that would make you happier?" I asked, not sure if there really was, but the last thing I needed was my friend depressed."Kat, there really isn't anything."
"Says you. You look like you feel depressed. Wanna cancel the shoot?"
"No."
I sighed, "So, you want to put the true emotion into the 'Fake Smiles' CD cover and photo-book?"
He looked at me oddly, " 'Fake Smiles'? Where did that come from?"
"We DO sing some very sad songs now, so why not? Plus, you look depressed. If you keep looking depressed, I'm gonna keep looking worried. Fact of nature."
He chuckled. He didn't call me stubborn for nothing. I smiled.
"If they try to force me into a camisole again, I swear, the producers won't get out alive." I sighed, sitting next to him. He laughed.
"I thought the last incident set them straight." He said.
"No. Last concert they replaced my clothes with a tight-fitting half-shirt and tight jeans. I walked out of the dressing room in my towel from my shower and asked the costume person for my clothes back. She did so, with a look that said 'I knew that wouldn't go over well'..."
"Jeez... Maybe we shouldn't do this next summer." He sighed, a hand running through his bangs.
"... Maybe. But what about the fans? Look at what happened at the freaking talent show! They were on the verge of throwing pitch-forks. At least according to Yuffie."
"Kat, I'm serious."
"I know you are."
He sighed.
"Maybe we should take a year off."
"Sounds good to me." I said, a smile on my face. "This is wearing you thin. You don't have to do this for me if you don't want to."
He smiled sadly at me. "I'm sorry."
"What's to be sorry for?"
