Alliance Battles are the way to go if you want to fight more than just a few people in GW-PvP. It's 12 on 12, split in three teams. (The max in any other modes is 8, I believe)

The problem is, everyone goes off to do their own thing. OR, they mob up and zerg every objective. Both of these throw any strategy right out the window.

The only good news is, it attracts bad players. So to win, just pray to whatever you pray to that your team has less failures than them.
