While this picture has nothing to do with Christmas it does have something to do with butterflies. Thinking about it this could be more of a spring theme picture (especially with the warm aura I'm feeling which I'll get to in a moment) even though it seems like she is wearing a winter school uniform. I love your character design of her and your use of soft colors the light affect is neat. I also like love how you did the butterflies though some of them look like small flying ribbons. But what I love most about this picture is the natural, warm aura radiating from the character. This is coming from the fact your character has a natural beauty to her, and along with the happy expression, the flower decoration on her hair, and the butterflies flying around her makes her come of as a gentle person with a pure spirit. She seems like the kind of person I would like. ^///^
So overall this is excellent picture fill with warmth, though in a different way to be a Christmas picture. The atmosphere feels like the kind of warmth I would feel in spring.

You're welcome. It's probably comes with the fact I have been writing for a long time now. Plus I'm usually sensitive to atmosphere when I look at pictures or environments, and I just especially love atmosphere from pictures such "butterfly affect" and "hanako". Those warmth, romantic pictures fill with nature are one my favorites. I was going to tell you how I felt about your picture hanako, but there are things I want to do this Christmas Eve night (it's night over here), which is why I just added it to favorites (which was inevitable anyway.
I'm sure you can too. It's just a matter of sharing the meaning and your thoughts/feelings of your illustrations.

Couldn't you have moved her leg over just a LITTLE to preserve her innocent depiction? There was a choice made there. I was all like "Awww, pretty butterflies! That little girl is so adora- OH MY GOD CREEPY!"
