Description
I bought a rain cover for my camera off ebay for like $7, don't really intend on going in the rain much but thought it would be great for the beachThis was taken around from the main beach at Port Macquarie, NSW. Taking jeans wasn't such a good idea...

Thanks for replying I know you have a lot of comments as it is. Amazing, I'm not really near water, so I've never seen any water move that fast to create that effect.

Wow, have I commented on this before? I feel like I should have, I simply can't believe how perfectly executed this image is.
Did you use an ND filter? I've been looking into them and could really use some advice on which to purchase.

congratulations on the DD! There has been lots of similar shots taken but what most of them lack is the colorful burst of light from the sky. They compliment the raging waves so ver well! And your username won't happen to be after the metal band of the same name?

Haha that's awesome! Bleed the sky's one of my fav bands when i first got into metal but i'm not as obsessed anymore. I do listen to the genre sometimes though, depends on my mood

This is beautiful. I love a jeweled sea
I have seen many long exposure shots of the ocean, but this has to be one of my favourites, it seems mystical. I love the way you have captured the streams of water flowing off the rocks on the right hand side, like little waterfalls.
Congratulations on your well deserved DD! I really should get back to my homework >.>
