Spent Christmas on the Gold Coast, QLD, Australia. Was lucky enough to be staying in that ridiculously large building that dwarves everything around it

Cool shot! I've been there myself at the Regent, but I have a feeling your reside was a tad bit better than that! Gold Coast is a great place, although the huge masses of hotels can be a bit... copycat-like, to me.

I have never seen the Goldy depicted like this. People always want to show it as this ugly urban stain threatening the sea, so it's refreshing to see it from this point of view. BTW, did I mention how mindblowing this shot is? :3
