Description the obvious exploitation
whoo look at me! I am a teenager who is trying to be political and then also be ironic by acknowledging her own cliched attempts in the title of her piece!

for anyone who's interested- this was taken right next to the revolutionary war statue. That added interest to me, because it made me consider what direction the nation's gone in since those days.

oh man i am so trite.

Tut tut, does that mean the o-so-symbolic flag is on the GROUND? Havers, Caitie! What EVER were you thinking!? That violates Inane Rule #2032892389!

As long as you realize that you're being silly and trite, it'll all work out. Actually, it's a very interesting shot. Like, 'what does it mean?' 'who is there?' It makes me wonder more why *I* am there lookign at the flag through the trees than anything else, like I should push them aside and see. VERY clever.

slightly wider depth of field would be nice, but this is excellent as is. well done.
