You’ve known Lovino and his brother since the three of you were little. Then you met Feli’s friend Ludwig and his brother in junior high and they became like brother's to you. In the last year you met Matthias. The two of you were like Finn and Jake from adventure time. Of course you still spent time with your friends and Lovino, and soon you grew to have a crush on him through the years.

Your life had been great but, just as high school started your parents died in a car crash. Leaving you all alone with any other family members living in a different country. You knew for a fact you couldn’t make enough money to keep the house, but when you asked Lovino to let you live with him, he had to decline. It was the same with Ludwig. When you went to Matthias he welcomed you with open arms. Why? Well he had a smaller house than you and he also lived with his friend, or brother, you weren’t quite sure, Lukas. Apparently Lukas had enough time on his hands to work and make enough money to keep the house and go to school. You thanked Matthias and helped out around the house where ever you could. Thats when your problems started.

You had never known what bullying felt like. But you knew you hated bullies with a passion. You thought of them as annoying leeches. Taking the joy out of someone and leaving a wound that would get infected by sadness. But you would never forget a promise Lovino made to you in the first year of junior high,

“So, thats what you think of bullies?” A younger you nodded,

“Yes. They’re disgusting leeches!” Lovino chuckled, and nodded,

“Fine. If thats what you think. But hey, if you’re ever getting bullied by one of those ‘leeches', I’ll stand beside you and make sure they don’t hurt you ok?” You smiled it was nice when Lovino got all protective of you,

“Alright, so its a promise?” Lovino nodded,

“As long as you want it to be.”

“Then its a promise! You better not go back on your word Lovino!” Lovino sighed,

“Ragazza, you know I wouldn’t do that.”

“Don’t care, just do it.”

Now that you lived with Matthias girls sent you looks of disgust. You didn’t mind it at first because you knew they were jealous of you living with one of the most popular guys in the school. But soon it turned into verbal abuse and then into physical. Soon enough you found that all your happiness was being leeched from you. Thats when you wished with all your heart that Lovino remembered the promise he had made, because you needed someone.
