Description
As Luciano closed his eyes and looked up so the rain fell onto his face, hidden tears flowed. As of now he was sitting alone on a park bench, in the cold unforgiving rain. Usually he loved the rain, but it's been quite a while since his smile was ever evident at all.You were merely a regular girl, living a normal life. But you could make even the saddest people smile. With bright eyes and silky hair, at first glance Luciano had become obsessed with you. He followed you around, when he could, he made small chat, and secretly gave you gifts. One day while it was raining, Luciano met you outside, in a raincoat smiling. Confused he walked up to you, and by now the two of you were friends,
"Bella why are you out in the rain?" Smiling you shrugged,
"Well, it's hard to explain but, the rain is just my favourite weather. It's so... Peaceful, right?" Luciano shrugged, he didn't mind the rain,
"Eh, I don't really care for the rain..." Giggling you took Luciano's hand and ran with him to the park. On the inside it may have looked like he was calm, but he was really flipping out in his head. He loved everything about you, you're smile, your laugh, the way you made others happy, everything. In his eyes you were an angel. As the two of you reached the park you ran up a hill and sat on the one lonely bench there. Sighing Luciano followed. He watched as you leaned back, closed your eyes and put your face to the sky. Smirking every once and a while when you'd scrunch your nose from the rain. Looking back at him he took you're hands, and confessed.
With a solemn smile Luciano curled into a ball on the bench, ever since that day you had loved him, for everything, you never judged him, and you were never afraid. It killed him you weren't sitting on this bench next to him now.
It was raining once again and you were sick, with a cute pout you turned to Luciano,
"But Luuuci, I wanna go outside!" He shook his head for the, what felt like, thousandth time,
"Sorry Bella. No can do, not while you're sick." Grumbling you lied back down on his lap. Smiling slightly Luciano ruffled your hair. What he didn't notice was the mischievous grin growing on your face,
"Luci... Could you go wet the cloth again please?" Sighing he got up and took the cloth, when he came back you already had boots on and was turning the door handle; just as you spotted him you were out the door and running. Luciano was grumbling and chasing after you, until he realized... You were going to the park. He took a shortcut and ran up onto the bench sitting on it just as you arrived. With some shared laughs Luciano ended up letting you stay there for a bit, so long as he could hug you. To keep you warm.
More tears rushed down Luciano's face as he began to shake, he hugged the small item he held in his hands tightly.
Again the same cold rain pounded on houses and streets, Luciano and you had made it a habit to take walks in the rain, making him smile more when in it. Although as the two of you rounded a corner, time seemed to slow down. A car screeched and Luciano was shoved back, the last he saw was a content smile before the harsh reality woke him and he was told you were dead. Unlike how most thought he would react, he merely looked outside to the pouring rain. Slowly but surely the information sunk in and Luciano began to quietly sob.
Now Luciano begged for the rain to stop. As if mocking him, thunder boomed making the rain colder and thicker. He didn't care if he would get sick, he stayed out in the rain now sobbing. You were the only light in his life, you made him see the good in everything even himself and the rain. Ah yes, the cold harsh rain. Slowly Luciano looked at the small doll he had made, it looked just like you and was sown neatly. It was how he reminded himself what he could've done, or how he could've protected you. But alas, he would never relive that moment, and he would never see your smile again. Or hear that laugh like silk. No, now all he could hear was the clash of thunder, and the loud taunting of the rain that you so dearly loved...
"Ti amo Bella....Mi marcherai per sempre."
