Description Cinnabar walked downstairs with his final box of belonging on his back and took one last glance around his mothers home.

"Well that's the last of them" he mumbled. In the corner of his eye he could see his mother hastily working on her leaf-lets, the same dull expressionless face he has come to expect. He shook his head and walked towards the door.

"So that's it then, not even a goodbye." There was no emotion in her voice, only plain words. Yet Cinnabar came to a stop and turned his head ever so slightly to acknowledge his mother walking up behind him.

"I've never received a hello, so I see no reason to merit you a farewell." There was certainly a bitterness in the maroon wysps voice, but there was no flinch from Madam G. Instead she looked around the internal home as she approach a little closer.

"18 years you have been raised in this house, a mother should logically expect her son to warrant her a goodbye as he leaves the nest." Cinnabar felt cold inside, and then very quickly he felt very very hot. He turned around so quickly the box on his back fell to the floor and its contents spilled to the ground.

"What mother?! Just feeding someone and letting them sat under your roof doesn't make you a parent, ANYONE could do that! You have never EVER treated me like a son, just some other job you felt OBLIGATED to look after!" Tears began to form in his eyes "A MOTHER would actually TALK to her son about things other than work! Things like THE FATHER I NEVER GOT TO KNOW!!!"

Madam G took a step back, treading upon a parchment fallen from Cinnabars box, one glance at it and her stomach dropped and a palpable dark cloud formed around Glacier. Cinnabar recognising the photo parchment suddenly became tense.

"Where.... How, did you find th-" before she could finish her sentence Cinnabar snatched the photo from his Mothers hooves and started collecting his things.

"Cj where did you find that photo?" His mother tried to disguise her horror with a calm voice but her cracks where already showing. Cinnabar finally lost it at the use of his nickname.

"Why? So you can make sure there are no more? So you can hide them or destroy them?!" Madam G went dark again and turned away to go back to her office, but Cinnabar wasn't done just yet. "You REFUSE to tell me ANYTHING about dad! You hid every. single. damn photo of him! Constantly, my whole life I've been told I look soooooo like him! And you know what? I always thought they were lying!! But this!" he held up the photo. "I AM ALMOST A MIRROR COPY OF HIM! IS THAT WHY YOU WON'T TELL ME ANYTHING! I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT MY DAD!" For several minutes they stood there, Cinnabar huffing trying to catch his breath. "TALK TO ME!" he screams. For a split second his mother turned her head, opened her mouth to speak, then closed it and turned away. Cinnabar raised his head and then left, too angry to do anything else.

Madam G sat in the privacy of her office and simply cried.
