Stories have a life of their own. They can take you places you could never go, give you experiences you could never know. With a good story you might almost feel as if you’re right there in it. And that’s because the stories are real. In our own world, they are contained to just a book, but it is only a retelling of the events that happened in their own reality.

Today we’ve got a very special tale. One about a world of magic and fantasy. A world born of the light of seven crystals and seven chosen heroes who would save the world from darkness Each hero had their own story to tell, their own adventure to live through.

But their tales were never finished. The heroes never appeared. And now their world of magic may disappear. Without the tales of the adventurers’ deeds darkness has taken hold, seizing the seven crystals and plunging the world into chaos. If nothing is done, the worlds will disappear and the pages in these books will become blank.

But not all hope is lost. The problem is that the heroes failed to appear. Were they to do so now and reclaim the seven crystals then their world would be saved. And that is where you come in.

We need heroes, someone with a youthful spirit read for adventure. You can take on the role of the hero. If you and your allies are successful and reclaim the seven crystals the world and story can be saved.

Oh… But I should mention.

This is a land of fantastic creatures. You may look a little different than you do in our world. And the heroes were not yet of adult age, many would call them children and you may find yourself younger should you feel their shoes.

Should this not dissuade you, and you have the courage to face the darkness then I invite you to come in further. There are seven books, and seven crystals. Choose one of the seven, and I will transport you to that world and so you can take over as its hero.

The first book, with a white crystal embedded in it. This is the tale young magic user, but they had many other talents too. Notice the decorations, aside from staves there are daggers and bells too. You’ll have many options on how to approach your problem.

The second book with the red crystal. It is a tale of a swift warrior. But one who knows solitude all too well. Worry not, for you will find friends on your journey and overcome both the darkness and solitude. Notice the flame patterns over the cover, the symbol of this hero.

The third book with the orange crystal. A hero who is misunderstood but tries their best, even if no one can understand them. A hero who learns that even when we feel small and weak, we can find the courage to overcome the challenge. Though….. The cover seems to be quite a mess, pawprints just decorating it.

The fourth book with the yellow crystal. This is a hero who will travel great distances and see many things. There is no telling who or what you may meet along the way. As for the pattern, these strange herbs may have no meaning to you, but they are very important to those within the story.

The fifth book, with the green crystal. This is hero of magic who many have depended on when they need aid. Though some might consider them weak, their strong heart will light the way to the crystal. The gemstones decorating this cover are a symbol of the magic its hero bears.

The sixth book, with the blue crystal. This is a hero with great potential. Though they may seem lacking at first, they have the potential for unlimited growth and quickly pick up skills. The tribal symbols on the front are a mark of where the hero’s life began.

The seventh book, with the purple crystal This is a tale of a savage hero. One who holds incredible might. At least that is what they would like you to think. But raw power alone is not enough to reclaim the crystal. The book is covered in claw marks, imitating the savagery of the hero.

Now, choose a book, and bring light back to the world of stories.

This is a collaboration YCH project. Each slot up for grabs is for both a picture and a story to accompany it.

Aelith (P-Aei) will be the artist who will illustrate an important scene from your story.

CalexTheNeko will be the writer who writes the story itself.

Your story and art will be released on the same day. You’ll receive a link to both so that you can view them in the order you prefer. I know some people can’t wait to see what they look like while others want to be surprised and not learn what they’ve turned into until their character does in story.

Become one of the seven heroes who brings light back to the land as you explore a fantastic world. Of course, you won’t be staying your current species, this is a transformation story after all. And many of you might find yourselves quite a bit younger, but still old enough to be capable. Just remember, you will be quiet different when you wake up in your tale. With that warning, let’s continue with the rules.

Note on the TFs:

All TFs are creatures from the Final Fantasy series, while some may be humanoid there aren’t any human-like species among them. Everything here is covered in fur, scales or feathers.

While there is age regression if your character is older than twelve, the regression is just down to the 8-12 year old rank, prime age group for a kid hero, so no one will be turning into toddlers or infants in these stories.

Bidding begins immediately after all slots have been put in the comments below.

The starting bid for each slot is $120

The Auto-Buy is $300

The minimum bid increase is $5.

The starting price may seem a little high, but remember you are getting two commissions, both a story and art.

Sniper protection is in effect. What this means is that if someone places a bid within the last hour of the auction, the auction is extended for one hour for that specific slot and only that slot. The auction for that slot then ends when there has been a full hour without any additional new bids.

After the auction, the winners will be contacted for information about their characters as well as for invoicing. Note, neither your art nor your story will be started until you have paid your invoice. If we are unable to get ahold of you, or you are unable to pay the invoice we reserve the right to reopen the slot for bidding again to give others a chance. You have one week to pay the invoice. If you are unable to pay it within a week, get in contact with us and we can work out an extension, but if we do not hear anything within the week, we will reopen the slot.

When providing character references, if you provide pictures please ensure that they are safe for work. We also need information on your character’s personality, how they would react to the adventure and their general mannerisms so we know how to write them. It’s also important you let us know what the proper pronouns are for your character.

Note, these stories are rated PG and will be focused on the adventure aspect that comes after the transformation.

With all that in mind, there are some rules about what characters can be entered into the story.

    1.    Your character must be old enough to understand what’s going on and get around on their own pre-transformation.

    2.    Your character can not have any story breaking powers and will not retain any powers they normally have. Any abilities they would normally possess are lost once they enter the world of stories and replaced with their new abilities granted by the transformation.

    3.    The character must be an original character that you have the right to use. You cannot use character from popular media or other people’s creations. The sole exception is if you purchased a slot as a gift for a friend.

    4.    It must be possible to write your character without them being sexualized. As mentioned, this is a PG story, and if your character’s original form or personality leans too hard into fetish territory, they would not be appropriate for the story.
