((....So can anyone tell I had watched Steven Universe before making this? xD Anyways, yeah, after hearing the song, I was just struck with the urge to draw, and the only character I roleplay who was perfect for this was Calibri. In a way, it all makes sense, though. When Calibri joined the Underground, she had to train with Asgore and others in order to become the Captain of the Royal Guard. Grillby, or Grillbz as she first started calling him, trained along side her until he became her second in command. He was also her best friend, someone she always confided in, and as time went on, with missions and training and such, he fell in love with her.But then she met Gaster. After getting to know him and after spending time with him, the two quickly fell in love. But as Calibri introduced her friends to him, he and Grillby instantly became sort of rivals. They still held a sort of respect for each other, but the rivalry overshadowed that. And after Gaster and Calibri's wedding, the birth of their children, and then the war, the moment Calibri "died", it was almost like the world shattered into two for anyone who knew her. She was nice, kind, giving, and always there when you needed her. A ball of light in an otherwise dark world they lived in. And she was gone.
This scene would sort of take place months after the event. Sans is older and learning so he can work with his father, but then he comes across Grillby lamenting Calibri's loss and his feelings. The boy feels grief and sadness for a man he too had come to respect. And Gaster...Gaster knows of Grillby's feelings and hears of the lament. He cries in sorrow, because...they both had so much in common and yet they fought so much before. They both loved Calibri and wept at her loss. But at least now they can come to an understanding and live in peace while remembering her.
This all takes place before Grillby moves on and starts his own family and before Gaster goes into the Void. ))

((Yes, and it SO does. I would have added a bit more scenes with Gaster and Grillby, though, but there wasn't enough room. I'll probably put it up in a new page. It'll be that part where they're both laughing a bit at something about Calibri, saying she always did what she wanted! XD ))

((In a way, but I don't think Calibri's life would be like huge or major as Rose Quartz was. Well, except for their need to protect, but will fight if they must, though they don't really want to...they have that in common. xD At least I still like drawing Calibri, though. I feel like drawing her and the others helps with my art. Like it's so much easier with them.

And yes! Ack, your art is awesome. I know I've said it a few times, but ahhh it's nice and bubbly- yet it works with all of the emotions you want to invoke into it and I really do mean it when I say 'art goals' for myself. //rubs hands together// some day.... some day..))

((Thank you~! I always did love expressions when it came to my characters. You can really feel their pain or happiness when you invoke the right expression on their face...just wish I could draw cute things better. It never turns out like how I envision it. xD ))

((I know, but I want his child self to be...squishier. xD Like super pinchable cheeks, but not too pinchable. Just something to show that he's young, but he and his mother had always had big cheekbones, so I suppose that's as squishy as they're gonna get. x'D ))
