No correct entirely.
Guinea pigs need a bath once every 2-3 months, every 1 1/5 month if they're long haired piggies.
Only there are dry bathes for them on the market.

Actually you can give them a wash-up. But... and this is a big but... you have to be really, really careful. Mild soap, generally mild warm water, and never, never, never get any water in their ears. Can cause infections.

But I think anyone who has owned one of these little rodents can agree that it's best to be safe. So thanks for the consideration. God bless!

You're welcome. Oh, also... best use one of their favorite towels afterwards. Mine had a little white-and-blue-striped towel that was their favorite burrowing hole... once you put them in there, they'll calm down a little after they've dried some. Of course, temperaments vary with the pig.
