it's bizarre and nice to draw some actually real life creatures for a change,, the difference in style between when I draw horses with fineliner vs digital is frankly wild. and I love cats but have never drawn them much - something to change in the future??
the kitty is colonel, a grumpy old tomcat and the original form of my esk 3387 (still goes by colonel). he was a stray who decided that this homestead is his home now, and thus was fed tuna to keep him from the chickens.
the pony is ebony, a quarter horse mare and the original form of 1157 now known as kelpie. she was just a cowboy's pony who wandered too far and met seventh, yikes.
