Sorry for the low quality >.<, I tried to record some of my painting to show how I sometimes create my pictures. I just use a regular hard round brush and over lay a gradient as some point to try and set a universal light.

This is the colored version, for that I used a layer set to geometric mean and another normal layer on top to paint the details . And this is after I add filters, final touches, etc .
