I froze as soon I realised the distant glow belonged to a creature. He was massive, at least 3 times my size, easily big enough to swallow me whole. However his movements made no noise, you couldn't hear him, even if you closed your eyes and listened very closely. So I sat down and watched him for a while, as he wandered through the trees. It was like a dream... the deeper I go into the forest, the stranger it gets.
