Though they don't look much different from regular anthro foxes, Aviaran foxes are born with a unique ability to launch themself in the air at great heights and land with ease. This also gives them an advantage to move quickly. Most common traits to identify them are their very fluffy tail that fluff up in size to create a cushioning to land on if needed. Their ears are also a little longer than most foxes. And most of the species stand rather short, not adding their ears. Averaging from 4 ft. 7 in. to 5 ft. tall.

Height: 4 feet, 10 inches

Weight: 94.3 lbs.

Personality: While normally carefree and keeps to herself, she does not seek out the company of others. She’s willing to lend a hand for those in need when asked, but will ask for something in return for her service. She is a confident mage with a wide range of skills from spellcasting to alchemy for various potion effects and experiments. But due to her own experiences she struggles with her temper and other emotions considering she's had many downfalls in her life.

Best Friend: Sparx
Sparx was the pet of Dally’s late mother Aurora. A miniature storm dragon, unlike other dragons, storm is a more rare element. Replacing fire with bolts of lightning. Sparx and Vadalia are inseparable and the only thing passed down to her from her mother.

Father: Alistor Knoxx (Previously known as Calsor Knoxx)
Alistor is the headmaster of the largest, most prestigious academy for mages and other fields of study surrounding magic, Grim Hollow Academy. He has been described as strict, tightly-wound and has no patience for nonsense. While not the most welcoming individual, he is considered very knowledgeable and incredible at his job.

Mother: Aurora Knoxx
Aurora was an Aviaran Fox who attended Grim Hollow Academy to study Alchemy. Though she was not born with any magic herself, she had skills with potion making that helped the people of her community and helped to gain revenue before leaving to learn more. During her studies, she had caught the interest of the Academy’s headmaster. After her graduation, the two had married and had two children before her sudden death while giving birth to their youngest.

Sister: Yvette Knoxx
Yvette is the eldest daughter of Alistor and Aurora Knoxx, and the youngest professor at his academy. Yvette was always met with praise for her prodigy level skills in magic, unlike her sister. These skills allowed her to quickly excel in her studies and graduate early from her father’s school. And later become a teacher at the same academy.

Step-mother: Twylina Ophelius-Knoxx
Twylina is a black jaguar who later married Alistor after his previous wife’s passing. Though she has no magical skill she works overseeing the financial affairs of Grim Hollow, this being how she and Alistor met. Though she is a bit more charming than Alistor, helping to form better relations with others, she is also described as snobby, up-tight and can be condescending. She will make it obvious if she doesn’t like you.

Care-taker: Evelyn Olshire
Evelyn is a brown wolfess who manages the staff of Knoxx Manor and took the responsibility of looking after Yvette and Vadalia when Alistor was occupied in his work. Though most of her time was spent with baby Vadalia as Yvette was normally well behaved. Vadalia always saw Evelyn as more of a mother figure than her step-mother Twylina. It was very upsetting to her when Evelyn retired, trying their best to keep in touch.

Early Life

Vadalia Knoxx was born into a family of naturally gifted mages from her father’s side while also inheriting her species abilities from her mother. Tragically her mother had passed giving birth to her from complications. With the death of her mother, most of the responsibility to care for her as a newborn was handed to the maid, now care-taker of Knoxx Manor, Evelyn Olshire. Her father was too occupied by the duties of his job to always be there to care for his youngest daughter, usually leaving her and her older sister in the care of the staff. Though her sister Yvette was normally well behaved, the absence of her father had given Vadalia a rather rebellious attitude. Driving the staff members mad with her pranks and messes, causing many to quit and new hires warned of her behavior. But once in her early teen years, old enough to begin her studies at Grim Hollow her father began to make himself more present. Adjusting to this took time for Dally, as she was often met with harsher criticism from her teachers rather than other students as ordered by her father. When it wasn’t pressure from her mentors it was bullying from her peers. Anything she could be teased for they would let her have it. From being the headmaster’s daughter, her height, her tail she would be ruthlessly bullied for it. This led from the practical joker she was before to change to a vengeful loner. Though this built character and improved her skills to get back at those who messed with her, any complaints to her father if dealing with emotional distress went ignored.
The ongoing bullying caused her temper to become uncontrollable. This led to Vadalia developing a condition known as “Leakage”. Her emotional imbalance causes her magic to leak from her and can create sudden surges of random spells and charms that can affect herself, things and people around her. She has no control over her condition and once her emotions are high anything can happen, as far as she knows there is no cure much like her emotional trauma.
(Examples: (1)While angry her magic leaks onto near books on a desk, the books suddenly grow wings and fly all over the room.
(2)While crying in her room, her magic leaks as she wipes her eyes, suddenly her hands are turned into octopus tentacles and stick to her face)

When Vadalia learned some accountant working under her father was going to be her step-mom, she was not thrilled. Ever since Twylina and Alistor started seeing each other romantically, it was obvious who Twylina liked more. Assuming her father had previously spoken bad of her to his soon-to-be wife was the reason for the cold shoulder. Though Vadalia never showed interest in bonding with her either. But after their marriage it drove an even larger wedge between her and her father. Often spending her time secluded in her room just to avoid seeing Twylina roaming the Manor.

The Deal

Though the relationships with her father and step-mother were strained, Yvette did her best to give her sister relief from the stresses of home. Often taking her out of the home for days out browsing stores and visiting her favorite spots. She kept a healthy relationship with her sister and was currently the only family member that kept her at the Manor. Vadalia often enjoyed a comic book store in town and would spend time there rather than home. Sometimes her sister would accompany her but other times she would go herself. At this same comic store, she met her first boyfriend. While participating in a board game session the store hosted, Vadalia met Xander Wilhelm. Xander was the son of a businessman who gained his wealth through producing supplies for magic studies, from textbooks, scrolls, potion kits and Coincidentally the same supplies Vadalia’s father uses for his academy. When Alistor learned of their relationship, it was his perfect opportunity for him and Twylina to strike a deal with Xander’s father. Not only to lower the cost of supplies to Grim Hollow but to also receive better quality items. But before the deal could be agreed to, Xander had already broken up with Vadalia for someone else. When Xander broke things off, his father also lost interest, seeing right through Alistor’s true intentions.
Her first heartbreak was devastating as she was also met with disappointment from her father. Blaming her for the deal going wrong. The berating her father was giving her was enough to send her temper through the roof, though her sister was trying to calm her, her “Leakage” had already started. In seconds her father’s study was engulfed in flames as she screamed at him in anger, insulted him as all the pent up aggression finally released. Though Alistor’s own magic was enough to kill the flames, his study and a few connecting rooms were destroyed. As a result of this, Alistor kicked her out of the Manor. Though Yvette begged him to reconsider, Twylina unsurprisingly supported the decision. But Dally didn’t care, she was drained from the support she never received. She was tired of being treated differently than his trophy wife and prodigy daughter. She packed her bottom-less charmed sling bag, accompanied by her pet dwarf storm dragon, Sparx and never looked back.

New Life

Years went by since her departure from the manor, and Dally has been doing well for herself. Her magic gave her the power to create a home, keeping her solitary attitude, she created a house from a large tree in the wilderness not too far from a nearby city. She was never interested in keeping a paying job and instead made a profit from potion making for various clientele. Be it something as tedious as a cold to cure, to more complex elixirs to transform humans to anthros. She could do it all in the comfort of her home and travel to the city to sell. Though she had some relief leaving the stresses of her home, the troubles still seem to find her. Between bad luck that always seems to find her and her “Leakage”, it's never usually a dull day for her and Sparx.

Unfortunate Encounter

Even when moving on with her new life near the city, her problems had only gotten worse. Adjusting to the demands from the consumers and just dealing with the a-holes of the city, it was becoming more difficult to keep her “Leakage” under control. She would often find herself having to quickly bail from situations where her leaked magic would bring inanimate objects to life and begin destroying the city while also terrifying the citizens. This being only one example of many that have gone wrong for her. Luckily, nothing connected her to the incidents but it was getting exhausting for her. No cure for her “Leakage” left her hopeless to keep out of trouble.
Until one day, when she escaped another conflict between an unsatisfied customer with her “Leakage” causing more wacky effects. She met a red kitsune, and the two made a trade of goods. A transformation potion and its recipe in exchange for a charmed silver choker. He convinced her the collar would be the solution to her “Leakage”, absorbing the magic that she released. Desperate for any way to stop the stress of her inability to control it. But what wasn’t discussed, was not only did it absorb leaked magic, but ALL of her magic. The choker is stuck around her neck, unable to be removed by herself. Only the one who created the charmed object can remove it. As of now the young Aviaran fox is powerless, her connection to her arcane power cut off. Searching for the kitsune that tricked her in an unfair trade and seeks him out to have it removed, no matter what. Her only source of magic now is her dragon friend, Sparx. Though he has proven useful, the miniature storm dragon can’t always be seen by the public and his abilities are limited. Nevertheless, Vadalia is on the hunt for the kitsune to get her magic restored.
